Just done reading the stand of some 192 faculty members of Ateneo de Manila University on House Bill No. 4244, which according to them "promotes human rights."
If its advocates really want to press the Reproductive Health bill forward, I think its authors must first guarantee that they will amend all of the bill's obligatory provisions. After all, we're talking about free and responsible decisions here. By the way, I believe it is impossible to achieve "free choice" if there is a presence of intervention—one of the many aspects of the bill that its pushers clearly overlook.
